Niraj Dev Joshi is currently president of The Nepalese Association of Optometrists. He completed his B.Optometry from Institute of Medicine (IOM) , Nepal.He completed his post graduation in optometry from India.

He is subject committee member (Optometry) at the Nepal Health Professional Council and member of high level committee on Eye Health (Government of Nepal).

His area of interest is Low vision and Community Ophthalmology.
